October 18, 2025- Sundre LIGHT officers oath taking ceremony and GoFilCans team building seminar. It was a day full of acquired new knowledge, skills, and experiences. Congratulations Sundre LIGHT officers on taking this important step! Your oath is more than words — it’s a promise to lead with integrity, serve with compassion, and inspire others through your actions. The future is brighter because of young leaders like you.

September 27-28, 2025- GoFilCanS collaborates to sundre Museum and district in celebrating Alberta Culture Days . We are grateful for having this opportunity to share Filipino culture to the Sundre community.

September 13 & 14, 2025- GOFILCans hosted basketball league. Four teams had competed for the title. It was indeed a two day full of action, fun and excitement. Congratulations to Champion Lowkey Team! Hats off to the players who joined the league.

September 7, 2025- GOFILCans joined the Be the Change: Fun run for Mental Health Challenge. It was a day full of fun, laughter and a big achievement for everyone especially who won the race.

August 31, 2025- GOFILCans goes to Filipino Airdrie Association Summerfest 2025 at Airdrie, AB! A day full of fun and excitement witnessing the Filipino games and great food at the same time!

August 3, 2025- GOFilCans Family day on Golden Skybridge in Golden, BC then a side trip to Natural Bridge and Lake Louise. A day full of adventure and created strong bond among families and friends.

July 25-27, 2025- GOFilCans Youth Representatives Allyssa Bontilao, Barry Andrielle Bontilao and Leila Ligsay joined AFCLA Youth Camp held in Red Deer AB.

July 5, 2025- GOFILCans attended the Filipino Heritage Festival in Lethbridge, AB led by the Filipino-Canadian Association of Lethbridge, Alberta (FCALA) . It was fun to comemorate the rich Filipino culture and festivities plus an enticing and delicious Filipino delicacies!

April 26 and 27, 2025- GOFILCans officers attended Leadership Training held at Spruce Grove. The training was sponsored by Filipinos Rising (FRIENDS) and AFCLA G10+.
